The motion picture industry is infested with communists, or so the authorities would have you believe. In actuality, the studio bosses seem far more concerned about the rising threat of that curious gizmo they call television.
In light of all of this confusion and uncertainty, movie producers find themselves more desperate than ever to discover the next big star of the silver screen. If you have just a little talent and a lot of ambition - well then, you might fit the bill!
Some might say it's a dangerous time to try and make a name for yourself in this business. Nonsense! What's the worst that could happen?

Coming in 2020 from Pilgrim Adventures, The Deadly Facade is a genre-bending visual novel with an immersive historical setting inspired by 1950s Hollywood.
As a young actor appearing in your very first starring role, the last thing you expected was to get all caught up in an unsettling murder mystery. Now it looks like someone has to play detective - for real, this time.

- Experience a branching narrative with multiple subplots which you can choose to pursue. Decide which stories you want to focus on.
- Live the life of a classic Hollywood star. Shoot scenes, deal with the press, attend photo-shoots and attend lavish parties.
- Character customisation: choose their name, gender and elements of their personal history and skill set.
- The ability to further develop your character's personality and morality with your choices throughout the story. Which path will you take, and who will you become in the process?
- A unique, complex relationship system. Other characters will respond to you differently depending on your actions and their perceptions of your personality.
- Multiple possible endings, based on how a combination of how the main plot and various sub-plots turn out.
